Process management through PLC and SCADA with standard and operator-specific recipes.
Recipes together with PLC and operator screens
Tekel Elektrik combines PLC, HMI and SCADA for standard and operator-defined process recipes. Polytrans tank washing is a real portfolio example.
Recipe selection and definition of process steps
Combined PLC control and HMI/SCADA screen design
Integration of field equipment and automation panels
Assessment of recipe parameters for operator needs
Which needs is it suitable for?
Suitable for facilities with repeated product or washing scenarios where operators must select parameters. If only live status display is needed, a more limited HMI or SCADA scope may suffice.
Initial assessment and delivery scope
We review process steps, PLC and screen models, I/O lists and field equipment. Parameter limits, permissions, tests, backups and documentation are clarified during quotation.
Real application
A fully automatic tank washing system with standard and operator-defined recipes was installed at Polytrans.
A structured way to manage steps and parameters for different products or washing sequences.
Technical scope
Recipe selection, parameter entry, step transitions, process interlocks and operator screens are designed per project. User permissions and logging requirements are defined separately.
When it is suitable
Repeatable processes, tank washing, batch production and facilities with multiple operating scenarios.
Prerequisites & limitations
Recipe limits, field sensors and safe operating conditions must be defined with the operator. Automation alone does not certify cleaning effectiveness, product quality or regulatory compliance.
Delivery scope
Approved recipe structure, PLC/SCADA configuration and acceptance tests; recipe count, licences, retention periods and training are specified in the quotation.
Quotation process
Share the site location, existing equipment, process or fault requirements and intended scope. After technical assessment and a site visit where needed, equipment, software, labour, schedule and deliverables are defined in a written quotation. No fixed price, uninterrupted operation or specific savings percentage is promised.
Technical scope and project inputs
This table does not declare fixed product ratings or certification. Numerical values, material selection and compatibility are determined by the survey and project documents.

Measurements and capacity
Recipe parameters, step counts, time (s), temperature (°C) and other process variables are defined for facility needs.
Materials and equipment
PLC, HMI/SCADA software, control panels and field devices; licences and equipment lists are defined within the project.
System compatibility
Existing PLC and SCADA versions, recipe data structures, device communications and operator permissions are reviewed.
Delivery scope
Standard and operator-defined recipes, process monitoring and test scenarios are scoped; data retention is agreed separately.
